On the western side of Benfield Hill. The course was once part of West Hove who moved down into a valley to the east when their old course was split in two by the construction of the Brighton by-pass. A new nine hole course was set up in the early 1990s utilising some of the old fairways. New Barn lies to the right whilst the A27 can be seen in the distance with Foredown Tower to the left.
