The terracettes on the west-facing hillside (left) are also shown in Image, taken from the road through the village, which is perched above the head of the combe. The Monarch's Way, following bridleway LHT/9/1, runs alongside the fence climbing past the trees in the centre. The area in the foreground is Well Hill, now a village green.
