Looking out to sea, with a helpful diagram marking the shape of the coastline and identifying visible landmarks. It was erected by Westbourne Rotary Club in 2005, the year of their centenary. The toposcope is positioned on the site of a Bronze Age barrow – see the inscription on the other side at Image
