Mill falls on the Greta

In the late autumn, Mill falls is a fine place to watch salmon attempting to leap up the flooding peaty water. In the summer, it is a favourite kids' bathing spot, with a big jump into a deep pool (providing you leap far enough out - broken ankles for those who don't) from the remains of the building on the bank. The falls look a little different in the snow Image] when the kids are sledging instead.
