To the right of the hedge is a field of stubble with pasture, which is more typical of the area, to the left. The footpath to Saddlebole Farm follows the hedgerow. The white thatched farmhouse can be seen, but is somewhat camouflaged by the weather conditions. It was a bleak day in the area, with heavy snow showers giving a rather slushy covering down here, but noticeably more higher up on top of the Edge. The wooded flank of the Edge can be seen in the background, rising up into the low cloud.
