A 46 bus passes Netherhall Gardens as it grinds up the hill between Swiss Cottage and Hampstead on route to Farringdon Street, having started out at Lancaster Gate. The vehicle is a Dennis Dart with plaxton Pointer bodywork. London Plane trees are much in evidence along both sides of this busy road. The road surface in the foreground is breaking up badly following recent snow and ice.
