It is a week now since the chain of bookshops closed down, including the Bournemouth store (see Image). All the shelves are now bare, with the exception of this copy of "One-Dish Meals" from the 'Quick From Scratch' series, which it appears nobody wished to purchase with a knock-down price tag of £3:99 – nor, probably, with a final reduction lower than that. Reflected in the window, we see a taxi going along Bourne Avenue on the approach to the pedestrianised Square. The Image and the frontage of Debenham's are the prominently visible features.
