When The Hollybush closed, just before Christmas 2008, it looked possible that the town had lost yet another of its pubs for good. But the pub re-opened in new hands a few months later, specialising in real ales rather than aiming to become yet another "gastro-pub". So far the omens are good, as the pub seems to be attracting a good number of customers. The pub is linked with the Black Country Ales Brewery, a micro-brewery established in 2004 in Lower Gornal, Dudley. Image; Image
