Like various other Country Houses at the time, Crowsley was taken over during WW 2 and became a radio listening station, which is still what goes on there now. The park is full of aerials and wires, but a public footpath goes through the middle of it all, so it can't be all that secret. This was taken from the gate, you can't get any nearer.
