Saintfield, in mid-Down, despite some "bolt-on identikit" housing, has managed to avoid widespread "commuterisation" and has retained the air of a small rural town. This row of 1990s houses in Comber Street proves that it is possible to build modern houses in the style of the past and avoid the "stockbroker tudor" effect.
