This photograph depicts a small cluster of wind turbine electricity generators located on the west side of the A19 dual-carriageway - just north of the River Wear. The picture was taken looking in a westerly direction from Castletown towards Washington. A part of Hylton Plantation can just be seen on the left-hand side of the horizon.
