B.U.T.9611T trolleybus 874 (GFU 692) in Wolverhampton Road, Bloxwich with a block of flats on the right behind the trees. The vehicle has Northern Coachbuilders 54-seater bodywork dating from 1950 and entered service in early 1962, having been transferred from Grimsby-Cleethorpes Transport the previous year. This road is now blocked off in the background with the A4124 Bell Lane. This photo was taken on Saturday 3rd October, 1970 the final day of trolleybus operation in Walsall.
