Steam powered air compressor that had been re-erected in the location of a scrapped machine of similar specification. This one was from Sutton Manor Colliery and i had seen this run several times. The site has been closed for a long time and I dread to think what sort of a state it is in now. You can see surface rust on the stays between the steam and air cylinders back then when it was newly installed.
