This picture shows an avenue of snow-laden trees through which Flatts Lane runs as it makes its way in an easterly direction from the top of Ormesby Bank (on the A171 road) to the minor road near Ten Acre Bank. At the gate shown in the picture there is a way-mark sign (just to the right of the gate) and a footpath goes off to the left which leads downhill to the old disused brick works. Viewers with extremely good eye-sight might see that the writing on the direction pointer of the way-mark reads 'BRICK WORKS'.
