Taken just before sunrise the cloud cover in the distance is hogging the channel and will remain out there for the rest of the day leaving clearer but colder skies inland. The houses of Woodlands Drive are to the left whilst the sea is just visible in the distance. The slope is an open space and includes a bridleway that leads to Three Cornered Copse then onto the northern edge of Hove Park.
