This is the former station house which was on the Okehampton to Padstow "North Cornwall line". This line shut on the 1st October 1966 . This view would be looking towards Padstow and the former down platform is roughly where the wooden fence now runs. For many year the site was out of use but a modern estate has been built on most of the former railway land here. Where cars are now parked the railway once ran west as this estate road roughly follows the old track bed.
