A house with a degree of architectural pretension. The white-painted Queen Anne windows, tall chimneys and half-timbering are typical of the Arts and Crafts style of the late C19th and early C20th. The house was possibly designed by the architect Ernest George who lived in Ryecroft Road for some years.
