The track eastwards from Glen Fender continues through a gate into this field on its way to Milton and Cablea. The wooded valley of Glen Cochill can be seen below, with Deanshaugh farm in the distance. This picture was taken through the fence; there is an alternative route into Glen Cochill that avoids the livestock. Helen Taylor notes that Deanshaugh is no longer a farm. The old farmhouse and its steading were totally demolished a few years ago and the house built in its place is a modern luxury home complete with security system. The fields however are still rented out for grazing.
