Looking through the circular ironwork on the arm of a bench outside Pug's Hole, in Glenferness Avenue – we can see the reciprocal hole in the other arm. The pavement along here is separated from the main carriageway by a hedges and trees, with intermittent gaps for driveways. Tall spindly pines, very prevalent in this and surrounding streets, can be seen up ahead.
