View towards Guildford from the northern level crossing, during a line closure. An old Southern Railway sign warns "Danger - Don't touch conductor rails". These class 33 diesel locomotives were built for BR Southern Region between 1960 & 1962. A few of them still have main line certificates, and several more operate on preserved lines.
