This part of The Tything is the slightly more down-at-heel continuation of Foregate Street. The Threshers store closed in late 2009, following the administration of its owners, First Quench Retailing Limited. The building dates from the 1890's. On one side is The Money Shop and on the other is the office of a firm of solicitors called Hamer Childs. For more about the fate of Threshers:- Image
