Looking southeast from the top of Macclesfield Old Road. In the foreground to the left is the mouth of a disused railway tunnel (with the line of the railway running clearly across the picture and curving left over an embankment to cross the valley). Below the line of the railway, in the middle distance left of centre, are the remains of Burbage Reservoir. The A54 can be seen on the hillside above the reservoir and disused railway.
