The old A43 Northampton Road, now only running to a dead-end at the hamlet of Image Before the introduction of the 'new' A43 dual carriageway the road continued straight on to Northampton. The old road is still present for a short stretch behind the newer trees but forms the majority of a lay-by for the new road.
