This view of the south side of the street with a mixture of residential and commercial premises shows the sort of architecture that's characteristic of the Old Town. Just visible in the foreground is the carriage arch of number 16. The taller building on the right-hand side is number 34 which houses a newsagents. Facing this direction is Broadway House (number 50). The timber-framed section in the foreground dates from the 16th century. The brickwork is more recent.
