Almost hidden in trees. Old style FP sign indicating path toward Cotesbach from Gibbet Lane (north side). Old OS maps (up to 1945) on http://www.ponies.me.uk/maps/osmap.html show a FP or bridleway running north. However, since the land became used as gravel pit / landfill the ROW was removed. Instead the ROW shown on current maps runs (a few yards away) NE along route of old Great Central Railway line.
