The Metrolink tram route along Eccles New Road (the A57) here starts to descend this ramp to go through a short tunnel under Ladywell Roundabout. It then proceeds a short distance to its terminus at Eccles. On Eccles New Road the trams have shared the street with other traffic, but from this point on it is trams only, as the notice on the left indicates. Image
