To the north of Aberdeen's city centre several roads, including the A96, converge on one huge roundabout. Pedestrians are catered for by subways and a path leading across the centre of the roundabout. This section of the path is coming out of the subway that crosses from Mounthooly; it is fairly steep, so a handrail is provided.
