This is the rear of Midland, a furniture sales showroom. Seems they may have an artistic salesperson. The cut to the left is the Tinker's Leen, which is an overspill from the River Leen. Some of the finest willow grew alongside and this was a key industry in Nottingham up until WWII. Queen Victoria came to Nottingham for her baskets and the bridge and road is named after her. The photograph was taken from the stairs of the adjoining multi-storey car park.
