Entrance to Clickimin Leisure Complex, Lerwick

One of the more obvious results of Shetland's oil dividend is the Clickimin Leisure Centre, as it was known on the 1980s when it opened. The entrance leads into the original building containing the sports hall, gum and changing rooms. Over the years extra components have been added: the swimming pool (the edge of which is on the right), the bowling hall (not visible in the photo), and most recently the squash courts (the edge of which are on the left).
