Farmland, Upper Lambourn

This shows a barley crop just above the village. A few strips of it had been harvested. This is the dry valley above Upper Lambourn, which, below the village, becomes the river valley. There's a very gentle gradient from here down to the B4000, with steeper arable land and grass rising beyond the road.
