Miners' Memorial at Oakwell Hall Country Park. After the closure of Gomersal pit in 1973, the colliery buildings were demolished, the ground levelled and the area was landscaped to create the Country Park. A sculpture, depicting two miners working underground, was commissioned by the Spen Valley Civic Society.
