Karrier W trolleybus 790 (GHN 570) turning left from Green End to go up The Avenue to Clayton Terminus. The vehicle has East Lancs 70-seater dating from 1958, although it entered service in 1944 as a single-decker with Darlington Corporation. The Black Bull Hotel can be seen on the extreme right of the photo with a bus shelter in front of it.
