This establishment has been serving the parish of Folke for over 150 years – it first opened (not necessarily here) on 21 July 1858. I don't know if it's been re-fitted since I visited it in 1996, but I recall that the clerk sat behind the counter at a higher level than the customer on the other side of the glass, resulting in a very high counter.
