This was a rare occasion when traffic was not flowing down the road here. The road, up until about 15 years ago, used to be the A1033 Hull to Withernsea main road. Fortunately, a bypass has been built taking a lot of traffic out of this bottleneck in Hedon. The brick building in the background has been boarded up (or at this roadside at least) for many years now, but the property will have been shaken many times over the years with heavy lorries passing very close to it..... it's good job that the bypass has been built really.
