Bath Street is the main shopping street in the town and runs down the hill from the Market Place. This view near the lower end of the street is known as the "Bottom of Town". The shop fronts and the businesses have changed over the years but the upper storeys remain virtually the same, many with ornate brick and terracotta decorations.
