Looking towards the spire of the Catholic Church of Our Lady, Valley Road. Interesting building but not very photographable on this occasion. The park is sometimes referred to as Mason Avenue Park. The main area is a spacious plateau with a steep bank down to Valley Road. It was reportedly laid out on the site of a domestic refuse tip.
