Entrance to the northern end of the Nature Reserve

This kissing gate from the link road near to Wern provides access to this local nature reserve. The area was once common land grazed by the villagers' cattle, but has long since been abandoned and has developed into wet woodland of willow and alder. As the bilingual notice states "Horse riders may not enter".
