Looking along West George Street from the West Nile Street crossroads. Ahead, the square-shaped Nelson Mandela Place interrupts the course of West George Street, which continues beyond the church. The church in question is St. George's-Tron Parish Church, which was built in the first decade of the 1800s. The surrounding square was called St. George's Place until a couple of decades ago.
