Thought to be the last water powered operational spade mill in Europe. The property is now preserved by the National Trust. Tends to be less well visited than some of the bigger NT properties but well worth a short detour off the M2 motorway. In this photo a long shovel handle is being shaped. The wood is ash harvested from other Northern Ireland NT properties.
