These houses were built in around 1928, south of the western end of Queen's Road (B4102), about one kilometre from the town centre. The house to the middle left has an unusual frontage. It used to be a corner shop with the door at the corner, but when the owners retired, they converted the shop to their lounge and sealed off the shop door.
