Almost certainly the very last photograph ever taken of the Alhambra, as it was under demolition at the time. It is difficult to orient this picture with the present-day scene, as there has been so much change in this area. The tramline now comes round from West Croydon where the bus is seen standing in the photo, but in the opposite direction. The site of the Alhambra is now occupied by a modern office block.
