Site of former village shop

This building on the main road in Dalguise, replaces the village shop which stood here for years. It was run by Donald Smollet and his wife in the late fifties and early sixties. Much of my hard earned pocket money was spent here. The present building was, for a time, an architects office, but now appears to be vacant.
