Located beside the St. Pancras to Leicester mainline, the buildings in this 1982 photo were connected with the railway's freight business but are now industrial units in their own right. The rusting lines just beyond the running tracks served the large Midland Railway goods depot which is the brick building on the right. On the extreme left is the water tower which served the steam depot on this site.
