St. Mary's church, Bildeston, Suffolk

This mainly 15th century church stands half a mile west of the village. Its one time lofty tower collapsed in 1975 and has since been replaced by this strange timber effort. There is some very fine work in this church and the south porch, in the picture, has some good flushwork.
