In the foreground is the junction at the east end of Langley Marsh where the lane from Deepleigh joins the main lane through the village. The C17 Cruwys Farmhouse is listed http://webapp1.somerset.gov.uk/her/details.asp?prn=40117 . It must be associated with the Cruwys family who were in the Wiveliscombe area in the C18 http://cruwys.blogspot.com/2008/05/another-dna-breakthrough.html .
