Finavon Doocot Lying alongside the A90, at Milton of Finavon, some 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Forfar in Angus is the Finavon Doocot. This was believed to have been built for the Earl of Crawford in the 16th Century and, with 2400 nesting boxes, is Scotland's largest doocot. It is maintained by the National Trust for Scotland. http://www.geo.ed.ac.uk/scotgaz/features/featurefirst9042.html
