This beautiful old church sits amongst green fields north of Preston. Close by is the shrine of Ladyewell, which has a supposedly miraculous well and is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Catholic masses are celebrated in the church on Sundays, holy days and regularly during the week. This photograph was taken on Good Friday, 2006.
