The Craiglockhart Poorhouse on Wester Hill opened in 1870. In 1904, it became the City Fever Hospital, dealing with quarantine cases. In the 1960s, it became the Greenlea Old People's Home until it was recently converted into flats at the centre of a new residential housing development. http://www.workhouses.org.uk/Edinburgh/
