An interesting piece of gear, possibly the slow moving load that I passed on the A1 a few weeks earlier. I am noticing more equipment that can run on normal wheels and rail bogies now. Perhaps they could use this to equip the trains that have to move around on the backs of lorries because it is too expensive to transport them using our lunatic railway system. Rails are being replaced where the Aberdeen - Dundee railway becomes single track approaching the Montrose viaducts.
