A complicated area of mapping wrongly shunts the junction of Fairlane, just behind us, in the next square east according to the map. The large, Elizabeth II-reign postbox is emptied finally at 5:45pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays. Beyond is a dog-waste bin, while this side is a drop box, where the postman can securely store part of his morning round and perhaps, therefore, be dropped here by van with his bike and letters to save him frequent returns to the sorting office.
